  • Enter the Basilica, a Roman Catholic cathedral housing the 500+ year old painting of the Altagracia Virgen brought by Spanish missionaries. The cathedral’s importance was solidified with Pope John Paul II’s visit in 1992

  • There is a short stop at the Basilica in Higuey. To enter, women and men must be covered to the elbows and knees. We cannot guarantee the school stop as it depends on holidays and government regulations on public school visits by excursions. For clients staying in Cap Cana expect a longer day of about 6 hours due to transport for the Cap Cana area.
